Die Elch-Crew sind begeisterte Macher:Innen. Seit Ende der 90er Jahre haben sie ein lebendiges Musikuniversum kreiert. Daraus ist elchRecords entstanden, das ein Musiklabel, Event-Management, Plattenladen, Live Studio und vorallem ein Treffpunkt für den musikalischen Austausch mit lokalen und globalen Künstler:Innen umfasst.
Die Regale sind mit feinsten musikalischen Leckerbissen randvoll gefüllt. Unser Hauptaugenmerk liegt auf Funk und Rap. Wir führen allerdings auch Soul, Jazz, Rockmusik, Reggae, Dancehall, Blues, Latin, Soundtracks, Library Music, Afrobeat. Neben Vinyl in den drei gängigen Formaten 7“, 10“ & 12“ bieten wir auch CDs und Kassetten von hauptsächlich lokalen Künstler*innen an. Ausserdem Stofftaschen, T-Shirts, Schmuck, Vinylpflegeprodukte und einen Waschservice mit der hauseigenen Vinylwaschmaschine.

The Elch crew are enthusiastic doers. They have created a living music universe since the late 1990s. This resulted in elchRecords, which includes a music label, event management, record shop, live studio and, above all, a meeting place for musical exchange with local and global artists.
The shelves are filled to the brim with the finest musical delicacies. Our main focus is on funk and rap. However, we also stock soul, jazz, rock music, reggae, dancehall, blues, Latin, soundtracks, library music and Afrobeat. In addition to vinyl in the three common formats 7″, 10″ & 12″, we also offer CDs and cassettes from mainly local artists. We also offer cloth bags, T-shirts, jewellery, vinyl care products and a washing service with our own vinyl washing machine.
